According to direct testimonies collected from the family of the Mexican filmmaker Christian González, with the actor Leonardo Daniel and with the actress Azela Robinson, this is a film that does not exist and may be is some other film made by the director Christian González but with the title changed by some US film distributor and with the protagonists added to the technical sheet on IMDB without any rigor and without really having acted in it. It could be "Furia de barrio" made in the same year of 1993 by Christian González where Leonardo Daniel and Roberto 'Flaco' Guzmán would have acted together and the photography would have been by Juan Carlos Martín, but Azela Robinson would not have acted in it who never acted in any film directed by Christian González nor did she work in any film with Roberto 'Flaco' Guzmán, as she herself has clarified. If "Furia del barrio" was reissued as "Infernal Apocalypse" more information is required to confirm it.

This pre-Code comedy-thriller centers on Robert Holden, a broke and discouraged veteran, who meets fellow American Elinor Green at a cafe in Paris. After their first encounter, Holden's attempt to return Green's thought-to-be stolen purse ends up rendering him a stowaway on board a ship bound for America. Also aboard is a collection of characters, including Green's banker fiancé, a famed scientist, and an opera singer. Romance begins to blossom between Holden and Green, just as a radiogram claims that an “infernal machine,” or bomb, is aboard the ship. Quickly each passenger accuses the others of planting the bomb until eventually Holden, jealous of Green's attention to her undeserving fiancé, falsely admits to being the culprit. In his role as assumed perpetrator, Holden tests the group further.

The end of the world, as predicted by the Mayans, is coming and Nacho (Fernando Ramallo) decides to hide away in a bunker on 27/12/2012. He doesn't know what is happening outside and is afraid to leave. He writes in his diary and films his experience in the bunker, keeping a record of his days. When he realizes strange events are happening outside he tries to figure out what has passed, from his knowledge of theories about the end of the world. Eventually he will find out that the Apocalypse has come. But in what form?

Four interconnected stories reveal the beginning and evolution of a zombie apocalypse in Buenos Aires. Through the eyes of different characters, we experience the initial confusion, the uncontrolled chaos, and the struggle for survival in a devastated world.
